Kevin Martens Wong is a final-year NUS linguistics undergraduate of Portuguese-Eurasian descent, head of the Kodrah Kristang revitalisation initiative, and director of the first ever Kristang Language Festival 2017. For his work on Kristang, Kevin was nominated for the 2017 Linguistic Society of America Excellence in Community Linguistics Award, selected for the 2016 Institute for Collaborative Language Research (CoLang) at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and appointed to the CoLang Advisory Circle, which develops new initiatives for the documentation, maintenance, and revitalisation of endangered languages worldwide. He is also an assistant editor of Unravel: The Accessible Linguistics Magazine.
